Kobi A. Finley ESQ.

Kobi A. Finley is the owner of Finley Law LLC, where she helps clients navigate the legal processes involved in elder law matters, including estate planning, Medicaid planning, guardianships, and probate and trust administrations. Before working at Finley Law LLC, Ms. Finley worked as a trial attorney and a supervising attorney at the Florida Department of Children and Families. In 2012 she became an associate attorney with Ellen D. Phillips, P.A. In January 2013, Attorney Ellen D. Phillips partnered with Attorney Finley and formed Finley Law LLC. Ms. Phillips retired in 2015 and Ms. Finley became the sole owner of the firm.

Ms. Finley earned her law degree from the Fredric G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida in December of 2003 and was sworn into the Florida Bar in May of 2004. She earned her undergraduate bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of Florida in 2000, having entered the University of Florida in 1996 as a Florida Academic Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society.

Inspired by her father, James H. Finley, PhD who was a forensic psychologist and vocational expert, Ms. Finley has always been motivated to help people to the best of her ability. As a lawyer, she does this by providing compassionate and considered legal strategies for people entering a nursing home, settling an estate, establishing a guardianship for an incapacitated or disabled loved one and taking care of other elder care-related matters with integrity.
